I've been a huge Harry Potter fan since God-knows-when. So, I am beyond excited upon watching these trailers which were released days ago. These are for the LAST Harry Potter film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.
I LOVE SALES! Well, who wouldn't love sales anyway? And, as my first SALE entry, I would like to announce that Forever 21 (one of my absolute favorite brands!) will be having a huge, huge sale on April 29 to May 1 on its SM Megamall boutique! Yay! :)
I've read so many articles online saying that Friendster will be shutting down by the end of May this year. For the record, there's a tad difference between "shutting down" and "wiping out". The latter is what will happen to social networking pioneer Friendster on May 31, 2011. Seriously.
Handmade clay accessories have been a huge trend for years now. And I am also kinda addicted to these accessories. Well, I don't exactly wear charm bracelets, necklaces, rings, and earrings made out of clay, but I've been buying these pretty little things since Christmas last year--as Christmas presents for my mom, sisters, and relatives.
There's this one clay accessories online store that I frequent. Its name is Klay Girl. Actually, I've been good friends with its owner/designer, Pam Uy, ever since we joined a Rockwell bazaar last November. I've even collaborated with her when we shot the Surreal Summer Lookbook of my women's clothing line Go Fickle Manila.
Hey guys! Holy Week is already over, and we are now back to reality--people return to their jobs, students resume their summer classes. As for me, well, I'm (still) waiting for the content validation of the tools that I will be using on my thesis. Whatever happened to them, NDCC?
Anyhoo, I just would like to share to you some of the photos that I took last Friday, when my family and I watched the Procession here in our city. Here they are:
It's Holy Week, and I know it's not right to lust after anything. But I just can't help it! I've been eyeing these Marc by Marc Jacobs bags for quite some time already. I just hope I'd get to have even one of these soon... *sigh*

It's Holy Wednesday here in the Philippines (and maybe in other countries as well, but I'm not really sure). Well, my family isn't gonna do something fancy this Holy Week. But that's fine, Holy Week is actually NOT a time for hitting the beach, right? It's actually a time to do something religious--like Visita Iglesia, which we will be doing on Good Friday! We used to do it every Maundy Thursdays, but whatever. :)
Summer is really here in Manila. And because of the freaking hot weather we have these past few days (not that I'm complaining!), shorts and sandals have already made it to my very own list of summer wardrobe essentials! I love wearing them--so comfy and so right for the summer season.
Hey guys! Actually, I've been wanting to do an Outfit of the Day post, but am really really shy on posing infront of the camera. (If you know what I mean. Haha!) So anyway, I just went to Polyvore and designed a complete set of clothes (and accessories and sandals and bags) that most closely resembles my outfit today! Here it is...
On my most recent post, I was blabbing about not having the latest issue of Garage Magazine just yet. I was kinda freaking out because I didn't wanna be left out on all things Garage. And right now, drum roll please, I finally have my own copy! Yay! Well, as expected, I got my own copy last Monday. So, yipee! :)
Was a tad busy last Monday and yesterday, so I haven't found the time to blog about it--until now. :)
I've been collecting Garage Magazine since December 2009. I was collecting Metro Him Magazine then, but upon asking the Filbar's sales crew, I found out that Metro Him Magazine won't be releasing new issues anymore. Crap. The Metro Him Magazine was like a trusty old friend for me then, so finding out that they're never going to be available ever again was indeed heartbreaking. Anyway, the kind saleslady told me I should try reading Garage Magazine. It's basically a newbie, but most of their customers who bought Metro Him before were buying Garage. So, I told myself to give it a try. And, boy, was I fascinated. I've been hooked since then.
This week has been a bit boring so I decided to post and share here with you guys some of my "photographer" shots. These photos were taken last January. I took a nice, long walk with my cousin around our village and found these amazing things (and animals). Since this is my first attempt on taking photos, I know these photos are way too amateur, so just don't expect too much. Haha! So anyway, here goes.
Having my own business(es), I've already joined quite a few bazaars in the past year. With all the brands that offer huge discounts, bazaars never fail to amaze me (and empty my wallet!). You can always find something to buy in a bazaar. Based from experience, I could say that the ones in The Rockwell Tent in Makati City and in the World Trade Center in Pasay City are the ones that have the largest foot traffic.
That being said, I am really excited to visit this particular bazaar this weekend. Hopefully I'd have the time (and the money!) to do so. The Coachella Rockwell Bazaar is one heck of a summer bazaar. Chic and well-known brands such as Sole Service, Go Fickle Manila, Olivia and Fifth, Duerr, Koi Swimwear, Suelas, ExtremeFinds, Flattering Tops, and Klay Girl will be joining this bazaar, thus making The Rockwell Tent a one-stop summer shopping center.
March had just wrapped up yesterday, and it turned out quite good for me compared to the roller coaster month that February had been. So, as a closing entry for the previous month, I will walk you through my random favorite stuffs for March.
First off is a new discovery--the Soft Hands, Kind Heart Hand Cream from The Body Shop. It's not actually new in the market, but I've just discovered it. :) I bought this just a couple weeks ago when I was waiting for my sister at the mall and had nothing to do for two hours. Yeah, you read that right! I waited for her for two hours! Haha! I could have gotten a couple facial treatments actually, given that loooooong waiting time. But, I needn't since I've just gone to Flawless a few days ago. There came a point when I literally dragged my feet while walking around the mall because I walked for so long, they hurt already. So anyway, I went to The Body Shop to see what products I could buy from them. I know TBS has been really famous for their body scrubs so I considered buying one, but when I saw this hand cream (which was displayed among the For Men line, so I thought it was actually made for men, but turned out to be unisex), I tried a pea-size of it on, and bought it right away. What made me do so was the fact that this cream never left the greasy feel that I ABSOLUTELY hate in skin products. I dunno, but the greasy feel makes me feel uneasy and unrelaxed and makes my face sweat profusely. Anyway, I've been obviously using this for quite some time now, and I love the smoothness this hand cream gives my hands. The smell is not unpleasant, but not really really manly. But still, it could pass. :) Another plus for the intention with which this hand cream goes. When you buy this cream, a fraction of your money will go to ECPAT (End Child Prostitution, Child Pornography and Trafficking of Children for Sexual Purposes) which is a leading children's rights organization in the UK. Ergo, buying this hand cream will not only give you soft hands, but could also mean that you have a kind heart as well. :)
