The Carrying of the Cross

No, I'm not actually talking about the fourth Sorrowful Mystery. Well, sort of. We did the Stations of the Cross today, Good Friday, at the St. Pio Chapel in Libis. I even tweeted about it earlier this morning. :)

It was actually my first time to visit the St. Pio Chapel. The chapel was simple, but I like the way they designed the Stations of the Cross. Stations One to Thirteen were designed like very little stables, which were kind of reminiscent of the place where Christ was born. :)

Station Fourteen was situated at the back of the chapel, but I wasn't able to take any photo of it. Station Fifteen, on the other hand,  is my absolute favorite because of the surreal feel it had. Here are the photos that I took:

Nice, eh? :) Oh! And, by the way, I loved that they actually had us carry crosses while doing the Stations of the Cross. That's for us to experience the suffering of Jesus on his way to Mount Calvary--which, I think, was a brilliant idea! But of course I know the actual cross Jesus carried was a lot heavier!
