For years now, it has been a tradition for us, high school friends, to celebrate the holidays every year. Last December was our third year, and it was our second year that we celebrated on New Year's Eve. I know it's kinda late to post this, but I wanted to show you how we celebrated the last day of 2012.
We met in the morning (I was late LOL) and had a hard time looking for a place where we can eat lunch--it was December 31 so most restaurants/diners/cafes were closed. Fortunately, one of my favorite cafes here in Marikina, Forget Me Not, was open that day. Will blog about their great food on a separate post!
We exchanged gifts and what not. Since the year before, we were to give each member of the group a gift, so that would mean giving (and receiving) 8 gifts! The photo above shows us wearing Nerian's gift: sunglasses. :)
Our bonding session at Forget Me Not wasn't enough. So we looked for a cafe, a coffee shop or a tea cafe, where we could continue our endless banters and laughs. Since most of the establishments were closed that day, we tried Marcos Hi-way. No luck. Katipunan Avenue. Again, no luck. Katipunan Extension. Cobo was open!
We played Pinoy Henyo (my team won), and had a year's worth of laughs and sweet, friendly banters. :)
It was the greatest way to spend the last day of the year! Looking forward to the next! :D
